Diy Low Budget Deck Decoration Part 2

I have  a big deck  in my place which is the best spot of the house. It is surrounded by trees, plants and the pool. It was the reason that I felt in love when I saw the house on sale. The only missing thing here was a BBQ and a nice lounge so I decided to decorate the area using my existing furniture and adding a bit of colour changing to a beach stylish look.

the couch:

we have this old couch which has been passed friend to friend for a long time. It is looks very old so I bought a colourful quilt cover and laid over given a new look.

Same happened with the arm-chair that I bought years ago on the second-hand shop.

A rug  and a glass center table was added to centralized the area creating a cosy feeling. (Tip: rugs are the best way to divided areas in a same room).

Then was just added some colourful cushions and accessories given a stylish lounge.

Urn indigena

This ceramic pottery is a famous type of pottery from the indigenes tribes in the Amazon – Brazil. My family is from a place in the north of Brazil called Para, which is part of the Amazon area. I used to spend my holidays over there when I was young. They have a lot of indigenes communities and their art is everywhere around the city. The Marajoara pottery are famous worldwide and have their vases exposed into a few Museums.

In 2009 I decided to import some unique pieces of this extraordinary art to Australia. I brought 50 pieces which were exposed into a few places in Brisbane. They are for sale so let me know if you would like to see the all collection.

Enjoy it.
